Attendees: Taster Day Workshop 90+ Public Attendees / Pop-Up Exhibition: 500+ Public Attendees
Each October, IADT welcomes the public on-campus for a Taster Day, showcasing its range of programmes and activities. In 2024, the Digital Mythologies project was prominently featured in this event, featuring in both a programme workshop and on-campus pop-up exhibition to engage a wide audience of public attendees.
Taster Day Workshop 90+ AttendeesDuring an all-day Graphic Design Taster Day, over 90 prospective students participated in an immersive introduction to Erasmus opportunities, exemplified by the Digital Mythologies project. The workshop, led by Rory Bradley and Gerard Fox, included a screen presentation that covered the project’s core objectives, activities, and international collaborations, offering a tangible glimpse into the programme’s global scope.
Pop-Up Exhibition 500+ AttendeesSimultaneously, a pop-up exhibition provided continuous exposure to the Digital Mythologies project. The Aalto Oodi showreel, a highlight from the project's collaboration with Aalto University, was displayed on a large screen in one of IADT's busiest entrance areas, accessible to all attendees.
With over 500 visitors on campus that day, the exhibition allowed a broad audience to engage with the project’s visual outputs, sparking interest in IADT’s commitment to collaborative, internationally engaged research. This dual-format event enhanced the project's visibility, offering both targeted insights for prospective students and a broader public showcase of IADT's interdisciplinary and globally-connected approach to research and education.
